The China Golf Experience could not be more appropriately named if it tried. Never in my life have I had such pleasure dealing with an individual company like I did with China Golf Experience. From the first point of contact with them to finishing my round of 18 at one of the most beautiful golfing resorts in the world, I couldn’t ask for a better standard of service.
Mission Hills is one of China’s finest resort and spa hotels with its rating in the 5-star bracket. I am a keen golfer with a handicap of 4 so I take my golf very seriously. The China holiday packagesalways seem to evade me and I’ve never been able to get myself over to south-east Asia. I contacted Steven who was the “head honcho” of the company and he offered me all the different packages available to use. I had a choice between the Shenzhen Golf Package, Hainan Golf Package or the combination of both. I thought to myself that I should spoil myself so I went for the combination of the Shenzhen and Hainan packages.
What a decision this was.
Apart from all the golfing on five of the most exquisite golf courses known to man, the additional services blew my mind away. Buffet breakfasts, full transfers from course to hotel, concierge service – you name it! It has to be up there with the best golf vacations in the world and I am scratching myself to go back there.
The personal highlight for me was my round of 72 on the Jack Nicklaus designed Worldcup course. Apparently it is rated as one of the hardest golf courses in the world and for me to hit par on it was an absolute delight.
When I had come to the sad end of my little vacation I immediately rang Steven and told him what I thought of the whole trip. My words couldn’t help being positive and I kept telling him how excited I was to go back there.
